Are you keeping track of your progress at the gym?
Many newcomers to our gym haven’t kept a record of their workouts before, often relying on ad-hoc sessions- unsure if they’ve ever seen progress over the years of training.
Yet, simply logging your sessions can make all the difference between achieving your goals and falling short.
Why?
Performance Tracking
Progress in the gym depends on how well your body adapts to training. We must progressively load the body and force these adaptations to occur intelligently. Keeping a training log helps you and your coach understand your performance better and target areas for improvement, avoiding unnecessary work.
Eliminates Guesswork
Without a training log, you’re guessing each time you ask, “How much did I lift last session?” This can lead to spending more time planning your workout during the session instead of actually doing it. Knowing your targets and workout structure allows you to focus on what matters—your training.
Motivation and Reward
Setting targets and seeing your progress week by week boosts motivation. It feels great to see personal bests fall and know you’re on track towards your goals.
At Hench, all of our member’s training is hosted on our app. This allows the coaches to monitor their training sessions ensuring they’re on the right track. Plenty of PB 🏆’s in the sessions 👊
Take the guesswork out of your training, and get results.
